My Ancestral History

My maternal family history reaches through the Amano family to the Kitamura family of Otogari, Mino, Gifu. Family genealogies and testimony offer clues to that history.

Family tradition describes links to the Uda Genji and Sasaki lines and samurai service to the Toki family in Mino. Not every connection from ancient times to the present has been independently verified. I preserve these records while distinguishing tradition from established evidence.
